How do I become a joint venture partner? Our joint venture partner tree purchase contract can be sent to any interested person or business to read over. We can then assist you over the phone or by e-mail with any questions you may have and with instructions on how to become a joint venture partner. Purchases can be made by SWIFT wire transfer, or by cheque or money order.
What are the returns like? Our smallest order is $100 USD for 10 tropical trees, which will return $340 USD in 10 years. That is a return of 24% a year non-compounded. Any purchase over $400 USD earns bonus trees. Most of our joint venture partners purchase $4,000 USD or 400 tropical trees, which earns them 100 bonus trees. Those 500 tropical trees generate a return on investment of $17,000 USD after 10 years, a return of nearly 33% per year non-compounded!
What are the risks like? Our risk factors are limited and manageable. The trees could be destroyed by acts of god, like a drought, flood, disease, or major fire. However, these risks have all been factored in to our calculations, and can be greatly mitigated with modern forestry practices. For instance, our fire breaks are not just the largest recommended size, but are made with significant undergrowth control to eliminate fire risk. As a company, we gain nothing if our tree plantations are not successful, so we are dedicated to good forest management and profitable outcomes.
Anything else I should know? Purchases should be made in United States funds (USD). If you wish to make your purchase in another currency, please discuss it with us. We can accommodate you, but there are some special requirements. If payment is made directly by SWIFT wire transfer to our plantation accounts, then you can avoid the application of sales or state taxes, goods and services taxes (GST) or value added taxes (VAT). We have a licensed agent in Canada, who is able to accept cheques, bank drafts or money orders made payable to Amazonia Reforestation. If you are Canadian and you choose this option please add 5% GST to your purchase price.
