Tropical tree nurseries are large undertakings. Trees are grown from the seed on up, with
careful weed control and watering. The nursery provides shade until the seedlings develop
good root systems. Seeds are planted December to April, and seedlings are planted in the
middle of the rainy season, June to August. Lime, boron and fertilizer are added to the soil.
